Taroki Tsukiji ten

Interesting Temple ShrineWhile walking to the famous fish market, I dropped by this Buddhist shrine to check it out, and I liked it. The decor is very detailed and elegant. The architecture seemed to be a healthy mix of South Asian and Indian designs from the outside and Japanese on the inside.On top of appreciating its elegance, the AC was comfortably cool, and the washrooms were open to the public. It was a quick but great visit!

Cool place, as it's the only stone Buddhist temple I've seen, also built in such a western style. It was interesting to peek around, but there really wasn't a whole ton to see other than the main hall, which is built like a chapel. Felt a little weird, to be honest.

Beautiful temple. Looks like an old church on the inside especially the altar. Very different if you're used to Chinese or South East Asian style Buddhist temples
